Eric W. Thompson, Esq.
Founder
Eric W. Thompson, Esq. founded his own law firm, the Law Offices of Eric W. Thompson P.C., in December of 2011. The firm is located in Hollywood, California. The firm specializes in production legal work for both film and television as well as talent representation of directors, writers and producers. Since founding the firm, Eric and his team have worked on such feature films as "Kong: Skull Island", "The Great Wall", "Pacific Rim: Maelstrom", "Spectral", "Crimson Peak", and "Krampus" as well as independent features including "Jackie", "Hands of Stone", "Woodshock", "A Bigger Splash" and most notably the Academy Award-Winning feature film "Birdman". In the television and new media space, Eric has served as production counsel for all four seasons of Hulu's "East Los High" and has worked on projects with Netflix and Amazon as well as emerging new media content creators such as Fullscreen, Inc. and Lifeboat Productions.
Prior to founding the law firm, Eric served as the Vice President for Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation in Los Angeles, California. In his capacity at Fox, Eric worked on numerous big budget feature films including "Three Stooges", "The Watch", "The Internship", "Love and Other Drugs", "Conviction", "Water for Elephants", "Night at the Museum", "X-Men", "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "All About Steve", "X-Files 2", "Big Momma’s House 2", and "Date Night" as well as numerous direct-to-video productions including "Mirrors 2", "Street Kings 2", "Wrong Turn 2", 3, 4 and 5, and "Marley and Me 2". Since founding the new firm, Eric has worked on such independent films as "Black Rock", "The Collection", "Killer Joe", "The Occult", "Therese Raquin", and "Disconnect".
Eric was raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He attended Tulane University as an undergraduate where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Southwestern Law School, where he received his Juris Doctorate. Eric is licensed to practice law in California, Florida and Washington D.C. Eric serves on the Tulane University Dean’s Advisory Board and is member of the National Board of Directors of the National Lung Cancer Partnership.
Matt Flood
Senior Director of Legal Affairs
Matt Flood has been employed at the Law Offices of Eric W. Thompson P.C. as the Senior Director of Legal Affairs since inception. Matt graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Finance and after 25 years of snow and cold weather relocated to Los Angeles and received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School. As the most senior member of Eric's team, Matt handles all aspects of production with emphasis on above-the-line contracts and production/finance/distribution agreements. Put simply, Matt is Eric's "right hand man". Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked at a boutique independent international film distribution and production company. In addition to entertainment law, Matt enjoys being outdoors and, ironically, snow and cold weather.

Adam Gluck, J.D.
ATTORNEY
Adam Gluck graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southwestern Law School in 2017 receiving his Juris Doctorate. In college, Adam was chosen as the sole delegate from Cal State Northridge to participate in Panetta Institute for Public Policy Fall 2013 Congressional Internship Program studying under Secretary Leon Panetta. During law school, Adam was notes and comments editor of the Southwestern Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honors Program. Prior to joining the firm, Adam worked for Congressman Eric Swalwell in his congressional office in Washington, DC.

Jasen Talise, J.D.
Attorney
Jasen Talise graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Rhetoric and minor in Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies in 2012. In 2018, Jasen earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where his primary focus was entertainment law. As a law student, Jasen served as the Managing Editor of the Southwestern Law Review, was named a Biederman Scholar by the Donald E. Biederman Entertainment and Media Law Institute, and was selected as the 2018 Commencement Student Speaker for Southwestern’s 103rd Commencement Ceremony. Jasen has produced and directed several theater productions and has written, directed and produced two feature film projects and one web series. In his free time, Jasen enjoys live music, teaching, and freestyle dance.

Beauregard
Beauregard joined the firm in March of 2013 as Eric's boss. He specializes in long walks in the park, chewing on furniture, distracting the other employees and generally being adorable.
Winston
Winston is the newest member of our firm. Winston loves to be by Eric's side when the boss has to make the tough decisions. Winston knows he has big paws to fill as Beauregard's younger brother, no matter how ruff the work may be. .
